Recorded at Blue Lotus Studio for the Greenwood Cemetery project headed up by Mike Higgins. The project is bringing awareness to the Historic Black Cemetery organized in 1874 post civil war. The song is the inspiration for the standard tune Dust My Broom that was recorded by so many artists over the years. It was recorded by the Sparks Brothers in 1932. Milton Sparks is buried at Greenwood. Many other historical figures are also buried there including Harriet Robinson Scott, wife of Dred Scott U.S. Supreme Court freedom suit plaintiff
